1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Signscouter, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Signscouter is

Signscouter is a community platform for photographing and sharing signs and plaques found in public places. Content is user-generated and we do not verify the accuracy of plaque descriptions or titles.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading content to Signscouter, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the app and on our website.

You agree not to upload content that is:

• Illegal, defamatory, or harmful
• Not of a physical sign or plaque in a public place
• Deceptive or deliberately misleading

4. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Your personal data will be permanently removed. Plaques you have logged will remain on the map, anonymised.

5. No warranty

Signscouter is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any content, uptime, or continued availability of the service.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Signscouter after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
